For the Admin team – to be able to see the information submitted by the students, change their status as they progress through stages, upload shortlisted student lists, send messages to them, automated emails as an acknowledgment at every stage, approve or decline files uploaded, integrate with the payment gateway etc.
Client Goals
Client purpose was to create a software for students who can apply online for various Programs available on the website. The main aim of the administrator is to access all the information on candidature online. Admin wants everything on their fingertips and manages application forms, change status of student application and shortlist students through this portal only.

Development
Our development team worked on the website and came up with a solution that supported the following features:
- Basic details – A list of all the candidates with their basic information and status – shortlisted, completed form, confirmed PI attendance etc.
- Academic qualification and Work experience – Details entered by the candidate in their application form
- PI details – Details of location, date, time of interview as well as whether interview was attended or not.
- Offers sent – List of candidates who have been sent offers along with details of date and time when they accepted the offer.
- Candidate documents – For each candidate, the documents submitted by him should be visible to the admin in front of his/her name in this tab. It should be in icon form. When clicked, the admin should be able to view the document.
- Payment details – Details of payment such as bank name, transaction reference number, amount, date, time to be captured for all the candidates who made payment.
- Withdrawals – List of candidates who request for withdrawal
- Master excel sheet – Over and above this, all the data for all the candidates should be available in one master excel sheet.
